DuloNode is an independent project created to make voice control with Alexa and Node-RED simple, secure, and privacy-friendly — without vendor lock-in or unnecessary cloud complexity.
It is designed for people who want full control over their automations, clear behavior, and predictable infrastructure.
DuloNode does not require access to your Amazon account, and you never need to share your Amazon credentials to use the service.
DuloNode is fully independent and self-funded. There is no corporate backing, no advertising, and no data monetization.
The project is sustained by users who subscribe to the paid plans.
Subscriptions help cover infrastructure costs and ensure the project can continue without compromising privacy or introducing advertising.
Privacy is a core design principle of DuloNode.
To operate the service, only the data strictly required to enable Alexa integration is processed. This includes basic account information, device names and states defined in your Node-RED flows, and aggregated usage data used to improve the service.
DuloNode does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Data is retained only while your account is active and can be fully deleted on request.
Data is shared only where necessary to operate the service, specifically with Amazon Alexa and AWS for secure processing and storage.
DuloNode works entirely within your Node-RED flows.
There are no external automation rules, no hidden logic, and no forced workflows.

DuloNode was built to be different.
It prioritizes simplicity, transparency, and user control — even if that means growing more slowly or staying smaller.
DuloNode started as a personal project. As more people began using it, it became clear that others were looking for the same straightforward approach.
If you enjoy using DuloNode and want to help it grow, sharing your experience is the best support.
DuloNode is built with transparency and respect for its users.
If you have ideas, suggestions, or questions about where the project should go next, feedback is always welcome.
Thanks for being part of the DuloNode journey.
